Fear & Desire: The Two Forces Driving Every Decision You Make

The heart operates out of fear or desire; everybody's heart does. One pulls you toward something or someone, while the other keeps you from something or someone.

One EMPOWERS you: desire. Another PARALYZES you: fear.

One inspires you to make good decisions, while the other inspires poor decisions.

Almost every action you take today will result from either desire or fear.

Typically, we operate out of intellect or emotions, and the first reaction to everything in your life, 99% of the time, is EMOTION, not intellect.

So, how do we operate as men in this world? Through INTELLECT and DESIRE.

Fear and emotions will lead a man into trouble every single time.

Fear vs. Desire

Fear/Emotions: Fear is a powerful emotional response that often stems from a perceived threat or danger. It can manifest in various forms, such as fear of failure, fear of rejection, or fear of physical harm. In decision-making, fear can act as a motivator to avoid negative outcomes or harmful consequences. For example, people might choose not to take risks or make certain decisions because they fear the potential negative consequences.

Desire/Intellect: Desire, on the other hand, is the craving or longing for something positive or pleasurable. It can include desires for success, happiness, love, or material possessions. Desires often serve as motivators to take actions that lead to positive outcomes. For instance, the desire for financial security can drive someone to save money and invest wisely.
