High-Virtue Man

You Don't Declare Your Value—Results Do

By Ryan M. Maes Leave a Comment

Bald man in plain clothing staring into a mirror that reflects him as a crowned king in royal robes with stacks of money, highlighting the gap between self-image and reality.

Men create hierarchies, systems, and value structures—but that is only half the picture. Power is not just what you believe about yourself. It is also how the world receives, validates, and responds to you. You do not get to dictate your value in a vacuum—value only becomes real when it is RECOGNIZED. A man with high standards but no results is not high value—he is delusional.

Yes, you can set your own frame. Yes, you choose your ethos, your code, your terms. But the second you step into the world—whether it is with women, business, brotherhood, or legacy—the marketplace fires back its verdict. You can claim to be a king, but if nobody salutes, you are just playing dress-up.

The game is INTERNAL and EXTERNAL.

You build value—discipline, purpose, excellence, strength—that is INTERNAL.

But the world measures it—respect, results, reputation—that is EXTERNAL.

A man wins when the two align.

Not when he just declares value—but when he becomes a man the world cannot ignore.

Because Scripture makes it plain:

"A tree is known by its fruit."

— Luke 6:44 (ESV)

✠ P.S. If you keep declaring value while your results stay flat, the problem is not perception—it is reality. Men do not earn respect through self-assessment; they earn it through discipline, execution, and results the world cannot ignore. This brotherhood is where internal standards are forged into external proof—inside The Kingdom Council 🏛️. Because a man without fruit is not misunderstood; he is barren.

Why Women Won't Submit to Men With No Mission

By Ryan M. Maes Leave a Comment

Muscular man holding a Bible with a woman resting against him beneath a glowing cross in the clouds, conveying faith-centered masculine headship and spiritual authority.

Men say they want a woman who submits—but most have nothing worth submitting to.

A man does not earn submission by demanding it. He earns it by living under authority himself. A man must submit to HIS mission first. If your purpose revolves around her, she cannot submit to you—because she is already ABOVE you.

Biblical masculinity flips this completely.

A Christian man submits first to GOD—not to a woman, not to comfort, not to approval. God is the highest authority, and a man who lives under that authority is automatically aligned with a higher mission than any relationship.

That makes him dangerous to idols—and desirable by default.

Strong men don't chase women—they invite them.

"If God is not above you, no woman will stay beneath you."

— The God Pill

✠ P.S. If you want submission without a mission, you are not being denied—you are being exposed. Men without mission end up negotiating for respect they never earned. This brotherhood forges men who submit first to GOD, move with purpose, and carry real authority—inside The Kingdom Council 🏛️. Because men who orbit are never orbited.

You've Leveled Up, But Can You Win the Game?

By Ryan M. Maes Leave a Comment

A man, dressed in a sleek suit and illuminated by heavenly light, encircled by a crowd of hopeful young virgins.

"Fairness means you get an opportunity; fairness does not mean you get an outcome. If hard work is all that's required, we would all be guaranteed success. But hard work only gets you to the dance; it doesn't guarantee a top spot. Hard work gets you the tryout; it doesn't guarantee a position on the team. Hard work earns you an interview; it doesn't guarantee a job. So, be strong and courageous, and run with endurance the race that is set before you, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. For God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him."

— The God Pill

You've done the HARD WORK, have you?

You've made something of yourself.

Your money, muscles, game, and faith are on point.

You've leveled up mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually—

—and you've become the best version of yourself.

You've never felt better!

Here's the bad news.

Your journey has only just begun...

All your hard work only gets you to the TRYOUTS—

—but you do not get the prize; you do not get the girl.

You are only "prequalified" to enter the competition against all the other hopeful men who also qualify.

Now, pause a moment—

—and let that sink in...

All the strenuous labor...

All the time, effort, and energy...

All the self-sacrifice, leveling up, and achievement...

All the toil, struggle, creating, and becoming—

—and now you are merely... competing?

That's right—you're just a "contender."

As mathematicians say, meeting her standards is a NECESSARY—but not SUFFICIENT—condition.

Welcome to the big leagues.

Let the Games Begin! 🏆

"The fact that a car has wheels does not motivate anyone to buy a car. This is because we expect cars to come with wheels. You do not secure a sale by providing wheels with your car; however, a car without wheels significantly demotivates anyone from buying. You functionally ensure that you will not secure a sale by not providing wheels with your car. Providing wheels does not help you, but not providing wheels absolutely hurts you."

— Dr. Orion Teraban, PsycHacks

✠ P.S. If you are tired of saying yes when you mean no, letting things slide, and then resenting yourself later, this is not kindness—it is self-betrayal. Boundaries are not about others; they are about whether you respect your own word. The Kingdom Council 🏛️ is where you stop folding under pressure and lead with a standard that holds. Because if you will not enforce your line, no one else will.

God, Manliness, and Muscular Christianity

By Ryan M. Maes Leave a Comment

A man embodying the tenets of "muscular Christianity," exuding strength, discipline, and moral vigor.

"Christianity is a fighting religion."

— C.S. Lewis

"Muscular Christianity" promotes physical manliness, virtue—a code of honor marked by loyalty, integrity, and bravery—and masculinity of character.

Followers embrace the principle that a man's physical capabilities should be developed and disciplined not solely for personal gain but to defend those in need, advance virtuous causes, and subdue the earth by the divine mandate given to men.

"Bodily exercise, when it is well ordered, is also prayer by means of which you can please God our Lord."

— Attributed to Saint Ignatius of Loyola (1491–1556)

The tenets of Muscular Christianity are as follows:

  1. A man's body is given to him by God;
  2. It is to be trained;
  3. It is to be brought into subjection;
  4. It is then to be used for the protection of the weak;
  5. For the advancement of all righteous causes;
  6. And for the subduing of the earth, which God has given to the children of men.

"Take care of your body as if you were to live forever; and take care of your soul as if you were to die tomorrow."

— Attributed to Saint Augustine (354–430)

Remember

"God revealed Himself in the Bible pervasively as king not queen; father not mother. The second person of the Trinity is revealed as the eternal Son not daughter; the Father and the Son create man and woman in His image and give them the name man, the name of the male… God has given Christianity a masculine feel."

— John Piper

*Related: "Meekness Is Not Weakness"

✠ P.S. If you are tired of getting talked over, ignored, or treated like you are harmless, it is time to face the truth: you taught people they could get away with it. Not because you are weak—you kept the peace instead of drawing a line. The Kingdom Council 🏛️ is where you break that pattern and start carrying yourself in a way that commands respect. Because the world does not honor quiet resentment—it honors honest conviction.

Mastering Power: The Thin Line Between Control and Domination

By Ryan M. Maes Leave a Comment

A man and woman standing close, her hand gently placed on his chest as she looks away demurely, tension and romance filling the air.

"A man establishes rules and boundaries. He is in control, not controlling; dominant, not domineering. He disagrees but is not disagreeable. He is always firm but fair—kind, not easy."

— The God Pill

"Controlling" and "in control" are related concepts but carry different connotations and are utilized in various contexts.

"Controlling" typically refers to an overbearing manner of directing others, while "in control" implies the ability to manage or handle situations effectively and calmly.

A controlling man dictates every aspect of his relationship, whereas a man in control subtly orchestrates situations and events so that intended outcomes appear to fall into place naturally, all by themselves.

A man in control is CONFIDENT and COMPETENT, while a controlling man is not.

Controlling

  • Definition: Imposing influence over; issuing commands, ultimatums, and sometimes threats.
  • Connotation: Often has a negative implication, stemming from insecurity or doubt, suggesting excessive or oppressive direction or regulation.
  • Example: He has a controlling personality, always dictating what others should do.

In Control

  • Definition: Having the power to manage or guide; having restraint.
  • Connotation: Generally positive, suggesting stability, competence, confidence, and the ability to effectively lead.
  • Example: Even in heated arguments, he remains in control and handles situations calmly.

"Obligated compliance never leads to genuine desire."

— Red Pill Maxim

"Let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband."

— Ephesians 5:33 (KJV)

✠ P.S. If you are tired of letting boundaries slide and paying for it later, this is not kindness—it is abdicated authority. Men do not lose control because they are too harsh; they lose it because they refuse to enforce order at the first sign of disorder. This brotherhood exists to equip men to reassert masculine headship under Biblical authority—inside The Kingdom Council 🏛️. Because where authority wanes, chaos reigns.

It’s helping me identify my weaknesses while giving me practical advice on what and how to self-improve. It’s also helping me identify women’s nature. I’ve been able to identify where I went wrong in past relationships while understanding what brought me there to those places and what women’s motives were at those times.

If You Are Looking For A Manly & Godly Brotherhood...

this is the place. No whining here. Together, we learn and warn each other about the current pitfalls facing those of us unashamed of their God-given masculinity. No emojis, no AI sermons, just men learning and communicating overtly and willing to act like men according to biblical standards (1 Cor 16:13 ESV). We love women for who they are, not for what we wished they were.

One Thing Is For Sure:

The God Pill is one of the rare places where we guys can share men’s topics that most churches will never touch on. Where can we guys talk about intersexual dynamics, real issues that plague men in our current gynocentric society and sissified churches, where we sing about Jesus being our lover and never about joining the Supreme Commander of the Armies of Heaven for battle? The God Pill is a breath of fresh air, and King David would have certainly joined it, in my opinion!
