TThe King James Bible is my go-to source.

It is the translation I reach for most—
but while I prefer the KJV, I am not King James Only.

Why?

Because the audience must UNDERSTAND the words being taught.

So, I choose the translation that will IMPACT the broadest possible audience.

This means that for some audiences, I'll cite the KJV or NKJV; for others, the ESV or NASB; still, for others, the NIV or NLT—

—because it's not just about listening to the words—

—but ABSORBING them.

It's not just about hearing the words—

—but INTERNALIZING them.

Comprehension is CRITICAL—

—and discernment is ESSENTIAL.
