So you say that you want peace, do ya?

Then, stay away from so-called "strong and independent" ambitious women—

—because these women are more likely to be masculine, assertive, argumentative, and contentious—the type of women who will make you want to live in a desert... or on the corner of a housetop.

But men of abundance avoid these women—they opt for TRANQUILITY over turmoil.

They crave a SANCTUARY, not a storm.

They want a HELPER, not a hindrance.

They value COOPERATION, not competition.

They seek RESPECT, not ridicule.

They desire PEACE.

Men with OPTIONS avoid "strong and independent" women, because attractive women don't behave like attractive men.

Again, attractive women don't behave like attractive MEN.

Remember

There are two types of jealousy: a GOOD kind and an EVIL kind.

Again, there are two types of jealousy: "right" and "wrong," protective and possessive.

"I'm not jealous; I'm territorial. You have two choices: either I care about you and I'm territorial, or I don't care about you and I'm not."

Type 1 Jealousy (The "Bad" Kind)

Jealousy over something that does not rightfully belong to you is called envy, which is sinful and COVETOUS—because it isn't yours.

You should strive to acknowledge, admonish, and avert this type of HARMFUL JEALOUSY, and encourage others to do the same.

Deuteronomy 5:21 states: "You shall not covet your neighbor's wife; and you shall not desire your neighbor's house, his field, his male servant, his female servant, his ox, his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's."

Why?

Because these things ARE NOT YOURS.

Type 2 Jealousy (The "Good" Kind)

Jealousy over the things that do, in fact, rightfully belong to you is reasonable, justifiable, and PERMISSIBLE—because these things are YOURS.

Remember: even God is JEALOUS.

The Bible says, "For the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God" (Ex. 34:14).

Therefore, if God is both perfectly good and JEALOUS, then it stands to reason that jealousy, in the proper context, is also 👉 GOOD 👈—because only a coward would not protect what is his.

As men, our deep attraction to particular women often blinds us to serious RED FLAGS.

When we're smitten, we'll tolerate an entire spectrum of poor behavior, last-minute cancellations, and unreasonable demands.

We'll even accept the lamest of excuses—no questions asked.

Sometimes, hoping against hope, we'll even believe the LIES.

This is the consequence of putting women before God—of making them IDOLS—and deliberately giving ourselves over to "strong delusion."

Remember

You shall make your mission, not women, the FOCUS.

When you make women the focus, they become idols, which is SINFUL.

So be a man after God's own heart, not a man after theirs.

Women are fleeting—

In other words, women make EXCUSES for "betas" and EXCEPTIONS for "alphas."

The truth is that women always make time for the men they GENUINELY DESIRE.

But if she's "terrible at checking her messages" and she's flaky, it means you're disposable.

She's not too busy to check her messages; she's too busy to check her messages—from YOU 🫵!

And when she says she's "not looking for something serious," she means she's not looking for something serious—with YOU 🫵!

So take off the rose-colored blinders—

—because when a woman has genuine desire, she will make it OBVIOUS: there is no guesswork.

Remember: if she's really into you, she'll find a way. If not, she'll find an excuse.

When a woman has "genuine burning desire" for you—whether she is your wife, girlfriend, a colleague at work, or someone you encounter at the gym—without exception, genuine desire always says "YES."

Everything else says, "I'm sorry, forgive me, I can't right now, maybe another time, I have plans, I have a boyfriend, I'm not in the mood, I'm tired, I fell down in the bathtub..." etc.

When We Retreat Inward

Our HEARTS HARDEN, leading to a spirit of bitterness and resentment taking root—

—and we lash out at God with fiery rage because life seems so UNFAIR.

When We Reach Upward

Our HEARTS SOFTEN, and our love and devotion to God—coupled with our utter helplessness apart from Him—drive us to our knees in shame-faced sobriety—

—and we cry out to Him in anguish, "Abba, Father!" with a broken and contrite heart because we know we cannot do it ALONE.

How Will You Respond to Life's Challenges?

Will you harden or soften?

Will you stand alone or kneel in His presence?

Will you isolate in anger or connect in surrender?

Will BITTERNESS drive you—

—or will HUMILITY guide you?
